Me and Gramps

The Forest creatures have joined “Me and Gramps” at the ol’ fishing hole to hear the story about “the big one that got away,” as a clever rainbow trout smiles from the boot Gramps has hooked. While he snoozes, the child and his friends regard him with admiration, trying to awaken him so he can finish telling his fishing stories. Over 7200 roses help create this create this charming account of an afternoon well spent. Gladiola petals of every hue compose the crazy colors on the trout with orchids and baby’s breath adding the froth accents over the water. 1982 marks South Pasadena’s 63rd year as a Rose Parade participant.
